About Karen Rowe
Karen Rowe moved to Grand Junction in 1974. After graduating from Fruita Monument High School she received her Cosmetology license and began a career in the beauty industry. In 1986 Karen was offered a teaching position in Denver, and 1989 she moved to Los Angeles to work as a National Educator for the third largest hair care manufacturer in the United States. She moved back to Grand Junction and opened a salon in 1996 and retired from the industry in 2004.
In 2017 Karen began her second career in the financial industry and recently made the decision to specialize in the Medicare Marketplace. Her passion has always been in serving people and this passion is carried through to her clients of all ages, particularly the elderly. She enjoys educating her clients so they can make the best decision for themselves, their family, their retirement, and their healthcare. Karen takes pride in building relationships, not making sales.
Karen is the Community Association Manager for the Lakeside neighborhood, serves as Senior Regent for the Moose Lodge and is a member of PEO; a philanthropic organization that helps women complete or continue their education.
She and her husband Terry have five wonderful boys, five beautiful daughters-in-law, five adorable granddaughters and one feisty grandson. Karen and her husband stay busy with all the activities that the grandchildren participate in from bowling leagues to baseball. The family gets together regularly to share a meal together, enjoy a family game night or spend time out and about with all the activities Grand Junction has to offer.
